This past month has defiantly been the month for company’s acquiring companies and Facebook is not one to disappoint with their purchase of Face.com the facial recognition site which already offers Facebook the technology they use to run the auto-tag suggestions you get when you upload new photos to your page, there’s no word yet on how much they acquired it for but that should be announced very soon, just know that if you’re a developer you don’t have to worry about losing the API just yet as in the company’s official blog they said “the plan is to continue to support our developer community.”
