Today Facebook launched yet another dedicated app, launching a dedicated app for its events segment on iOS and allowing users to view a filtered feed of all of their friend’s activity about events.

For example, it can show what locations they have said they are interested in, or what places they have recently checked into.

The app also includes a search tab, allowing you to filter events by time or location, as well as a carousel to show a number of suggestions about the locations that you should visit.

There’s also a calendar tab at the bottom, that will show you an overview of the apps that you have signed up for.

It’s certainly interesting to see Facebook segment their service into multiple apps once again and definitely shows how the company is looked to expand past social into a number of other areas.
