Facebook has today announced on their blog that they are rolling out an update to pages, aiming to help users find important information more easily on pages for groups and business.
Facebook say that the updated design features a new streamlined look, as well as a new timeline design that shows new posts in a chronological order. There’s also a new left-hand side column that shows important information about the groups or business, including a map, hours of business, phone number, website URL, photos and videos.
The new design comes from a new effort from Facebook that aims to clean up the entire site, and after their unveiling of a new updated News Feed design, that aims t present information more effectively.
Facebook also updated tools for administrators of Pages, allowing admins to view information about the information on the ads your running, and read notifications and messages from anywhere on the site, meaning you no longer have to go into a special settings window to make changes to your Pages.
Last up is a new Pages to Watch functionality, allowing Pages administrators to create a list of Pages that are similar to their own, and compare the performance of their Page with other businesses.
