Today Facebook announced an extremely successful Q3, revealing that they had earned $7.01 billion in revenue and $1.09 earnings per share from 1.79 billion monthly users, with 4.67% of growth this quarter.

They also revealed that daily active users rose to 1.18 from 1.13 billion last quarter.

This is way above the estimates from analysts, who said that there would be $6.92 billion in revenue, with $0.97 earnings per share.

This is pretty impressive news from Facebook and shows clear growth in the service, despite pretty much everyone already being subscribed to the service, and despite the recent allegations of censorship and other troubles.

However, with their investment and focus on video, Facebook seems to be able to grow their revenue enough to bump up these earnings.
