Facebook has today announced a new service called Facebook at Work, designed to allow businesses to create their own social networks for their employees, the platform is a lot like the normal Facebook, just designed for the business environment.

With the service employees will be able to log into the network with either a new Facebook ID that has been set up by the company they work for, or with their existing Facebook account.

Facebook say that it’s also based on the service that they have been using internally for their own employees.

The service is also being launched alongside an Android and iOS application that has been named “Work” and allows users to access their networks on the go.

Currently Facebook at Work is only launching in beta, however Facebook has said that they have been working on the service for the last 10 years, which means that it should be ready soon.

We will let you know more when we hear anything further.
