Facebook announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2015, providing us with its full financial results for the year of 2015, revealing just how well, or poorly the company performed.

“2015 was a great year for Facebook. Our community continued to grow and our business is thriving,” said Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder and CEO. “We continue to invest in better serving our community, building our business, and connecting the world.”

In the report, the company revealed total revenue of $17.93 billion for the year of 2015, which is up a massive 44% over the previous year.

On top of this, the social network revealed net income of $3.69 billion for the year, whilst revealing that the daily active users on the site rose 17% in 2015 to 1.04 billion.

Monthly active users also rose 14% to 1.59 billion.

And that’s not all, they also revealed that mobile users have also increased by 25% from the previous year, reaching 934 million daily users on mobile, alongside a 21% increase in monthly active users at 1.44 billion.
