Today it was announced that the popular mobile game Fallout Shelter will be making its way to other places than just mobile.

This was revealed by Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hyrb on his blog today, where he announced that Bethesda will be bringing the Fallout Shelter game to not only the Xbox One but also Windows 10.

It will be launched for both on February 7th as an Xbox Play Anywhere title, meaning that it will work across Xbox One and Windows 10 stores, however, it will be free on both anyway.

Play Anywhere really comes into play with its save data sharing, allowing player progress to be retained across both the Xbox One and Windows 10 machines, allowing players to pick back up right were they left off.

In case you don’t already know, Fallout Shelter is a game in which players take the role of an Overseer to provide shelter for their dwellers, to be successful in that task, players must manage dweller tasks effectively, defend themselves from a range of bosses and find resources in the wastelands.

You will be able to download Fallout Shelter on the Xbox One and on Windows 10 machines from the Xbox Store and the Windows Store for free on February 7th.
