The director of Fallout 4 Todd Howard this week confirmed that their upcoming game, Fallout 4 will run at 1080p 30 fps on everything, not at 60fps.

This will be the case when Fallout 4 launches later this year on November 10th for the PC, Xbox One and PS4, with the PC and Xbox One version of the game supporting mods.

However Fallout 4 mods will launch for the PC first in early 2015, with working happening for the Xbox One shortly after and then PS4 quite some time after.

Fallout 4 is set in a post-apocalyptic retro-future version of Boston, Massachusetts and parts of New England known as the Commonwealth.

However unlike previous titles in the Fallout series, Fallout 4 will begin on the day the bombs dropped, October 23rd, 2077. On this day your character decides to take shelter in Vault 111, shortly waking up 200 years later as the vault’s sole survivor.
