The makers of the Paper sketching and drawing application for the iPad, FiftyThree has today announced that they have developed new iPad pressure sensitive stylus support for the app, which they expect will be added to the app when iOS 8 launches later this year.

According to FiftyThree the new feature will allow users to draw and express themselves from “every angle”, which is said to be done by using the Pencil stylus, which has a unique that allows it to create lines of all sizes without changing any settings, simply use the stylus point for the fine details, and the angled edge for the broad stroke.

“Great tools inspire great ideas. Pencil is the most natural and expressive tool for getting ideas on Paper. Advanced technology meets beautiful design to keep you in the flow, without needing to switch tools. With Surface Pressure, Erase, Blend, and adaptive Palm Rejection, Pencil puts creative possibility in your hands.”

“FiftyThree introduces Surface Pressure—an industry-first feature that uses Pencil’s uniquely-designed tip to vary the lines you create. Surface Pressure comes to Pencil with the release of iOS 8 this Fall.”

You can find out more about the new feature on the FiftyThree website as well as through the video above.
