Square Enix has today announced that they will soon be launching a HD remaster for both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 for PlayStation consoles.

The remastered versions with feature new improved graphics as well as a few new improvements, as was announced by Square Enix sometime along with a set of screenshots and videos for the game, however at that point they did not announce an exact release date for the titles.

Thankfully that has today been revealed as March 18th 2014 for the PlayStation 3 and will include Final Fantasy X: Eternal Calm and Final Fantasy X-2: Last Mission, which were previously only available in the games’ international versions.

There will also be a version for the PlayStation Vita, with a release date to be announced soon.
