The first backwards compatible has been added to the EA Access service on the Xbox One, with the original Plants vs. Zombies game joining The Vault, as the sixteenth game to do so.

This is the first time an Xbox 360 title has been made available on the EA Access service, which comes after EA said it would be considering adding Xbox 360 titles last summer.

As part of this, we may even soon see EA’s other Xbox 360 games on the EA Access service, maybe even Mass Effect, however, EA hasn’t confirmed anything.

You can subscribe to EA Access on the Xbox One now for £3.99 a month, or for £19.99 a year.

Here’s the current list of games available on EA Access’ Vault, currently available to download for free.

  • Battlefield 4
  • Battlefield Hardline
