Fitness trackers are suddenly becoming extremely poplar, which of course means that the market is flooded with various models t choose from, sometimes making it hard to find the right one for you.

However for me it all comes down to the apps, what’s available and how they work, and it that category no one does it better than Fitbit in my opinion.

And with the new Windows 8 application for the tracker, it’s only getting better.

Available today from the Windows Store, the app is similar to what you would find on the app for tablets or even the smartphone, but has obviously been styled to match the Windows 8 interface.

From the app you can view various graph pages which will show allow the tracking data for your activity levels, sleep and even weight charts, syncing with various Fitbit products to do so.

From the app you can instantly see stats on your weight, body fat and even BMI, rating your performance against your friends.

The new application is a free download, available in the Windows Store today.
