Over the weekend a number of users reported that they were finding an issue with their Galaxy S8 and S8+ devices that caused the display to show a red tint.

Despite the short time frame, Samsung has already got a fix ready.

According to reports, the Korean company has already begun the process of rolling out an update to Galaxy S8 and S8+ devices around the world in order to fix affected devices, which it does by allowing users to optimise the colour settings on their device.

It is sized at 400MB, so the fix is pretty substantial and it will definitely be worth connecting to a WiFi network to update, should you receive it.

That said, it has only been reported in some locations so far. We expect that this will be rolled out to devices to devices worldwide before the end of the month, however, that has not been confirmed by Samsung just yet.

The reason for the download size is because the update will also come with some other performance and stability improvements.
