Normally when you hear about violence and video games in the same story it has something to do with either Call of Duty or GTA, however after the developer took the popular app, Flappy Bird down from the Google Play Store and the iTunes App Store, he has received a number of death threats from various Twitter users, flipping the usual game violence story to the app based gaming community.

The reason I find this story so fascinating is that it’s really the first time we have seen something quite on this magnitude, turning what could possibly be quite “normal” people into Flappy Bird freaks.

It’s no wonder the developer decided the game wasn’t for him anymore, just check out some of the Tweets he has been receiving:

Go ahead and counteract some of these tweets with some uplifting ones, the developer really deserves some positive comments not all of this bullshit.
