Shortly after Dong Nguyen, the developer of Flappy Bird had his breakdown earlier this year he promised that he would be bringing the game back at some point, a promise which he has kept up with this week, relaunching the game on the Amazon Appstore.

This comes after the games huge popularity on iOS and Android, generating $50,000 a day in ad revenue. However the popularity seemed to be too much for the developer that he removed the app from all app stores.

In order to cut down the chance of this happening again the developer has made some changes, including a name change to Flappy Birds ‘Family’, and a move to an Amazon Appstore only availability, meaning that those on iOS or Android will no longer be able to play the game, at least for now.

Those who can play the game will enjoy a new two-player mode, new obstacles, and much more.

The game will also support the Amazon Fire TV set-top box, along with the Amazon Fire TV remote, which can be used as a controller for the game.
