Microsoft has today confirmed the existence of Forza Horizon 2, and ahead of its E3 press conference the company announced that the game will release “this fall” on both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One, and will be an open world racer that will be similar to other versions in the series.
This was first revealed by IGN, who mentioned that the game will still be developed by the British studio, Playground Games and Turn 10, quoted a statement from Forza’s creative director Ralph Fulton, who said that “[Turn 10 and Playground] share this belief that we can create a true home for racing fans on Xbox One.”
In the game we know that there will be a number of real-world cars that players will be able to drive, most notably the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan, and will switch its scenery from the US to Southern Europe.
The game will also revolve around the one central event of a music festival.
We should hear more about the game at E3 2014 next week, so come back for more.
