Fossil has just emailed us to let us know about their new line of connected accessories, called Q.

Fossil aims for the line to feature a number of accessories that feature expert craftsmanship and a striking design, within the line there are two types of connected watches which are both display and non-display products, along with two styles of connected bracelets, one of which has been designed for men and the other for women.

The entire line does share some similarities however, engineered alongside Intel they are compatible with Android 4.3 or higher devices, and iPhone 5 (iOS 8.2) or higher devices.

All of the devices will also connect via Bluetooth, and will work with a number of third-party fitness applications.

The first of these devices is the Q Reveler which sounds like something similar to the Misfit Shine, featuring only LEDs and subtle nudges to allow you to keep track of who’s contacting you, it will be priced at $125 and available from October 25th.

Q Dreamer is the second bracelet that will be available in either a silicone band or a leather one, and will gently vibrate when the user gets a notification or show customised colour notifications for key contacts or apps. It will also be available from October 25th for $125.

Q Grant is the first of the watches, able to connect to your smartphone it can alert you of incoming emails, texts, phones calls and more, to do so it will show LED indicators on either side of the watch, lighting them up with customisable colours that can be changed for key contacts. Q Grant will be available on October 25 and cost from $175-$195.

Q Founder is the top of the line smartwatch from Fossil, a result of Fossil’s partnership with Intel and Google, it is powered by Android Wear, but with be compatible with both Android devices and iPhones.

The Q Founder will ship in time for the holiday shopping season according to Fossil and will be priced from $275.

All of these devices will also be compatible with Fossil’s app for more features, such as Q Activity which is a fitness tracker that can let you know how many calories you have burned, with details about your activities, it will also connect to other apps like Google Fit, Health, UP and more.

Q Notifications will connect to your social media accounts, calls and calendar, letting you know about all of the notifications from the contacts or apps that you have selected. Q Curosity is a feature that goes with this, allowing users to get notifications when it is time to “break free from routine”

All of the devices will be online at and in retail/wholesale stores globally, however there’s no news on UK pricing yet.
