The PS Vita is already one of the more favourited handheld gaming consoles, but it is just getting even better with the launch of the free to download Skype app available on the PlayStation Store from today.

This means that the Vita is now the first handheld console to either include video calling, with access to both of the Vita’s cameras it becomes a very simple app to use, alongside that you can also run the app in the background allowing you to video call whilst playing games.

The app will also work on both 3G and Wi-Fi versions of the Vita, allowing for video calling wherever you go.
