Today a new project was launched on Kickstarter that allows filmmakers and content creators to share their videography to a monitor or iOS device in real-time with a device that they have called FREECAST.

This device plugs right into the back of a range of cameras such as a GoPro via an HDMI port, with the ability to cast video recordings in real time, and then cast it even from a remote location from up to 500 meters away.

With the iOS app, you will also be able to stream content live to your followers on multiple social networks around the web, with the ability to customise your broadcast with your own logo, title, and more, as well as save video and take screenshots right from the app on any device that is running iOS 8.0 or later.

Check out the video below for a quick look at FREECAST and be sure to hit up the source link below that to find out more and to back the project if you are interested.
