Superzooms are gradually getting a little to super for their boots, especially with Fujifilm’s latest camera named the FinePix HS50EXR with a 42x optical zoom that ranges from 24-1000mm range.

The camera uses the EXR CMOS II sensor which Fujifilm claims to offer the world’s fastest autofocus with 0.05 second focus speeds from the 16 megapixel 1/2 inch sensor.

The camera also features a full manual control zoom lens on the barrel for precise and fast controlm the camera also offers a f/2.8-5.6 aperture and can shoot at 11 frames per second.

Around the back there’s a 3 inch 920k dot vari-angle LCD screen alongside the 920k dot electronic viewfinder and has a battery capable of 500 shots per charge.

There’s not word on pricing or a release date just yet however.
