Fujifilm has today announced two new bridge cameras to be released in the UK market, the FinePix S4200 and the L240, which are both light and compact and hold pretty similar features, for Instance both of these cameras boost a 24x optical zoom lens, with 24mm wide-angle function

Alongside their zooming ability’s both of the new FinePix models also include a 14 megapixel sensor, Fujinon optics and Dual Image Stabilisation.

Both of the cameras also include a 3-inch screen on their back for reviewing your photos, and if you prefer the old fashion way of doing things both cameras also have and electronic viewfinder.

So what’s the difference between the two? Well it all falls down to their battery, where the SL240 comes out on top with a rechargeable lithium battery that can take 300 shots per charge, whereas the S4200 needs two AA batteries to run, both cameras can however shoot 720p HD video.

Both of the models are available in red, white and black, both of which are available in store now, the S4200 for £149 and the SL240 for £199.
