Fujifilm has today unveiled it latest waterproof compact camera named the FinePix XP60 able to go underwater as for as 6 metres deep, the camera is also shockproof, sandproof and freezeproof.

The XP60 also includes a 16 megapixel sensor, an upgrade from the 15 megapixel sensor used in the previous XP50 camera, alongside which the XP60 can also shoot at a much faster 10 frames per second.

However it has the same 5x optical zoom with a range of 28-140mm, and is capable of capturing 1080p HD video.

There’s no word on pricing or an official launch date, but we do know it will launch in yellow, blue, red, green and black when it does make its way to the UK.
