After what has been months of rumours and leaks, we are once again hearing more about the X-series from Motorola, which we saw full specifications and a press image for earlier today.

The details were reported by Android Authority, who revealed much more about the smartphone than we have heard before and all ahead of the suspected launch from Motorola.

The site has stated that there will be four global variants of the X4 for the different territories that the smartphone will be launched in.

The version in Europe, North America and Latin America will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB and the version in Asia will be slightly more powerful with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage according to the site.

They also stated that the smartphone will come in Super Black and Sterling Blue colour options.

And that’s not all that they revealed.

Android Authority also stated that the X4 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, an Adreno 508 GPU, and a 5.2-inch Full HD display with ‘3D glass’.

To top that off, they said that there will be a fingerprint sensor below that display with a 16-megapixel camera that has a f/2.0 aperture and the ability to record 4K video at 30fps above the display.

On the back, of the X4 they say that you will find a dual-lens camera setup that combines a 12-megapixel sensor that has dual autofocus, a f/2,0 aperture, and an 1.4um pixel size with an 8-megapixel sensor that has a f/2.2 aperture, a 1.12um pixel size, and a 120-degree field of view.

That camera setup will reportedly feature a dual-LED flash, phase detection autofocus and bokeh effects built in.

There’s also a 3,000mAh battery inside of the X4 with Motorola’s TurboCharging feature according to Android Authority.

We don’t have anything official just yet, however, Motorola is hosting a press conference on August 31st at IFA in Berlin.

We will update you if we hear more.
