HBO has today finally confirmed the dates for which the fourth season of Game of Thrones will hit screens worldwide as Sunday, April 6th for the US, with the first trailer showing on HBO before the premiere of their new drama, True Detective on January 12th, after which we are guessing it will appear online soon after.

Sky have also confirmed that they will be showing Season 4 in the UK just one day after, with the first episode airing on Sky Atlantic at 9pm on  April 7th, and then at the same time every Monday thereafter.

Users of Now TV will also be able to watch catch-up episodes after signing up to the Entertainment package, costing £4.99 a month currently, however after March 31st the price will rise.
