Garmin has today announced that they will be launching three new smart watches at this year’s CES, one of the biggest is the Garmin Vivoactive which comes alongside the Garmin Fenix 3 and the Garmin Epix smart watches.

The Garmin Feniz 3 is a ‘Multisport GPS’, the Garmin Epix has been designed for navigation specifically and finally the main focus of the show is the Garmin Vivoactive, built for sports and activity tracking applications and has been designed for a wide range of sports that include cycling, running, golf and much more.

“Vívoactive combines signature Garmin fitness technology, such as built-in GPS, long battery life and a sunlight-readable display, in an ultra-thin smartwatch that lets users stay connected and achieve more,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin vice president of worldwide sales. “Designed to be worn all day, vívoactive can be personalized in many ways – from interchangeable bands to watch faces, apps and widgets – making it versatile, stylish and functional for your life. ”

But the Garmin Vivofit is not just a fitness accessory, it’s also a smart watch, making it capable of connecting to your smartphone via Bluetooth and providing your with notifications and allowing you to keep track of keep track of calls, messages, emails and calendar appointments.

You will also be able to choose your own watch faces for the Vivofit, and track both the weather and you location with the in-built GPS.

When the Garmin Vivoactive launches it will be available in both black and white, and can be paired with a range of different accessories.

These accessories includes a cycling sensor, a hart rate monitor.

Once the Garmin Vivofit does launch it will retail for $249.99 by itself, or $299.99 with the heart rate monitor.
