Today Garmin announced the launch of their new smartwatch that has been designed for use with general running, or simply triathlons, the Garmin Forerunner 935.

This new smartwatch has been designed specifically for athletes who are “focused on performance and results”, featuring an inbuilt heart rate monitor, GPS, and a number of other features.

This will not only allow users to see how their body is responding to their fitness routine, and track that activity data.

You can then upload this data to Garmin Connect automatically and customise the experience with a number of free apps, data fields, and more.

The smartwatches also come with a number of training features, including the new Firstbeat software that allows you to monitor performance and prepare for a race or training cycle. There’s also a training status that will automatically analyse previous exercise or training cycles.
