Garmin has unveiled the updated version of the Vivosmart HR this week.

Dubbed the Vivosmart HR+, the new fitness tracker will take over from the HR that was announced last year, bringing with it new features like GPS, and the addition of Garmin Move IQ, which is capabale of working out what activity tou are doing and tailor itself to that.

With this you can more accurately track distance, time and pace, with new features for running activities that includes personal records, virtual pacer, Auto Pause, Auto Lap and the walk/run mode.

Vivosmart HR+ also takes advantage of Garmin’s Elevate wrist heart rate technology to wuantify the intensity of a users’ fitness activity.

Garmin’s Vice President of Worldwide Sales explained more:
