This week GEAR4 unveiled a new iPad case called the Buckingham iPad TPU flip case. The case uses the D30 technology, which they say is “the most advanced shock absorbing technology for enhanced impact protection.”

The case also features a unique molecular structure that allows the material to remain soft and flexible in use but when impact occurs, the molecules will lock together and will absorb and dissipate the impact energy, providing a nice experience when in use while keeping protection.

They say that the D30 technology can deliver more impact protection per cubic millimetre than other leading materials. The case will also come with a standing option to allow you to stand the iPad and case on a desk or table in a landscape position.

There are also four slots on the flap for business or payment cards, along with two larger slots for documents.

The case will be available for the iPad Mini 4, the iPad Air 2, the iPad Pro 9.7-inch, and the iPad Pro 12.9-inch in black with orange or blue with grey.

The iPad Air 2/ 9.7 Pro/ 12.9 Pro versions of the Buckingham will be available from GEAR4’s website and from Carphone Warehouse for £59.99, while the iPad Mini 4 version will be priced at £49.99.
