As they promised yesterday, Gearbox have today given some new light to their future plans for Borderlands 2 DLC, including a level increase, new missions and brand new bosses.
To kick it off, they will be raising the level cap from 61 to 72, launching this fall in the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2: Digistruct Peak Callange, which will be released alongside a new map where Patricia Tannis will allow players to fight high-level enemies to gain new loot, launching at the end of October, it will be available for $5.00.
And that’s still not all, as there will also be a free update coming that will contain additional backpack, ammo and bank slots.
Not only that, Gearbox will also release multiple “Headhunter” packs which will offer new missions and boss fights, the first of which will be the T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest, allowing gamers to play as some of the characters first seen in Borderlands 1, on their mission to fight the gaint pumpkin boss, Jaques O’Lantern.
All of this will however be separate from the Borderlands 2 Season Pass, so your going to need to drop some coins in order to grab the content.
