Back when I founded TechNutty, I spent quite a lot of time looking for a way to publish content in the way we do now, eventually we ended up with WordPress, which is a great solution, but its not exactly the perfect solution.
However a new Kickstarter project called Ghost is looking to change all that, already funded, the project founded by John O’Nolan wants to create a simple yet great looking platform for bloggers and sites like ourselves.
From the dashboard, Ghost displays all of your important content such as traffic, upcoming posts and social media stats, in a mobile friendly drag and drop interface.
The attention to detail is the main point that will make this platform great, with a split screen post editing screen, you type out a post of the left side and then check the live preview on the right, it just makes sense.
And right of the box, Ghost will be able to link up with your Twitter and Facebook accounts, allowing you to automatically post your content to your followers without the need for any plugins.
And even better, Ghost has partnered with WooThemes meaning there will be themes available for those who aren’t quite ready to write their own yet.
But if you are a developer, Ghost has you covered, with support that is similar to WordPress, their description states that “you’ll be writing Ghost themes in under 5 minutes.”
