Today Gigabyte unveiled their first GPU to be launched under their AORUS line.
Dubbed the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 AORUS Xtreme Edition, it is the first graphics card to be launched alongside the company’s AROUS motherboards.
The GeForce 1080 AROUS will come with Gigabyte’s WINDFORCE Stacck Cooling module, providing extended VRAM and MOSFET for boosted performance.
They explained more about that with the following:
The rest of WINDFORCE Stack Cooling module makes no compromise with the three 100mm stack fans and 6 composite copper heat pipes for a stunning cooling performance. The use of double ball bearing fans ensures the card will go the distance. The silent semi-passive fan profile allows gamers to enjoy gameplay in absolute silence when the system is running light or idle. An LED Fan Stop indicator provides a user-friendly, instant display of the fan status.
Gigabyte has also built AORUS VR Link into the GPU, with an extra 2 HDMI connectors on the front of the card that allows the user to connect VR devices while using their current HDMI displays, without having to swap cables out.
Gigabyte has not revealed more information on the pricing or worldwide availability for the card yet, but if they do we will let you know.
