This week Gigabyte revealed an update to their range of Brix miniature PCs.

The small form-factor PCs have still been built to provide you with a competent PC from a 4.7 x 4.4 x 1.4 form-factor.

With the update, they have become slightly more interesting as Gigabyte have updated them with an Intel Kaby Lake processor, with a choice from the latest Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors.

The rest of the specs are completely different, as the Gigabyte Brix is a barons system, you can choose your own software and add it in your own time.

inside of the unit, there’s support for a 2.5-inch SDD/HDD, with a pair of SO-DIMM DDR4 slot, and a M.2 SSD 2280 slot.

It also comes with an Intel IEEE 802.11ac dual-band WiFi card, Bluetooth 4.2, Intel HD Graphics 620, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 2 x USB 3.1 ports, a HDMI 2.0 port, and a HDMI with Mini DisplayPort.

Finally, there’s a Intel Gigabit lan port, an inbuilt microphone, a headphone jack, and a VESA mounting bracket.

Gigabyte has not revealed any information on the availability or pricing about the updated Brix yet.
