Today Gigabyte unveiled another addition to their Brix line of devices and it’s a pretty strange one.

Called the Gigabyte Brix-GZ1DTi7, it features a design that only a mother could love. Of course, that statement is pretty subjective, however, we are willing to bet that the green mesh and the mixture of triangles and ovals won’t impress you too much.

At least there are some glowing LED lights on it.

Thankfully there is a good amount of tech inside of that 276 x 384 x 128mm can, depending on the configuration that you choose, you can either get the GB-GZ1DTi7-1080-OK-GW, or the GB-GZ1DTi7-1070-NK-GW.

The GB-GZ1DTi7-1080-OK-GW features a Gigabyte GTX 1080 Gaming G1 GPU with 8GB of GDDR5 memory, 32GB of DDR4 RAM.

The GB-GZ1DTi7-1070-NK-GW is pretty similar, but it has a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming G1 GPU and 16GB of RAM.

Both also feature an Intel Core i7-6700K processor, a 240GB M.2 SSD, 1TB HDD, and a 400 Q PSU.

They also have 802.11ac Wi-Fi, GbE LAN (Killer E2400), three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a single USB 3.1 Type-A port, a single USB Type-C port (USB 3.1/Thunderbolt), and separate headphone and microphone jacks.

Gigabyte intends them to be machines for consuming 4K content, and they should definitely be capable of that, but whether or not you can put up with looking at that design will determine if you should buy one really.
