EE has today announced that it will be giving all of its existing and new UK-based customers a free portable charger.

Called the EE Power scheme, it will launch in the UK in the “coming weeks” and will provide all of its customers with a free EE Power Bar, all they have to do is visit any of EE’s stores across the nation after request their own unique code.

They can get their own code by texting the word “POWER” yo 365.

And to top that all off, EE won’t even require you to charge the Power Bar yourself, allowing customers to simply swap their empty one for a completely charged version of the Power Bar at any EE Store at no cost, meaning that if you run out of power all you have to do is visit an EE store.

“Almost everyone’s experienced the frustration associated with running out of battery and it always seems to happen when you need your phone the most. With EE Power, we’re trying to help by giving our customers a Power Bar that can simply be swapped for a fully charged one at any of our stores, at any time, for free,” said Pippa Dunn, chief marketing officer at EE.
