Although it has already announced a next-gen console, Microsoft are still announcing new accessories for their previous console, the Xbox 360, unveiling a new Chrome Series controller coloured in gold.

The controller is fully wireless, with a shiny design it features the same D-pad button layouts as previous controllers, and will be priced at £36, or $54.99 in the US.

Major Nelson revealed the new controller on his blog earlier today, revealing that the gamepad will be available worldwide in August, however only at GameStop or the Microsoft Store in the US.

It will also join the previously announced metallic blue, red and silver controllers.
