After announcing the gold version of the HTC One last month, HTC has today revealed that the handset is now available for purchase in the UK, with Carphone Warehouse offering it on a range of contracts with a number of carriers in the UK, including Vodafone, Orange and O2, starting from free on a 24 month contract for £29 per month.

For which you get a handset pretty much the same as its original (expect in gold), featuring a 4.7 inch HD display with a 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution, 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean pre-installed.

There’s also a 2,300 mAh battery, a front facing 2.1MP front facing camera and 4MP UltraPixel camera on the rear.
