Yesterday Google acquired Meebo, a Sort of social network which allows you to share your interests around the web. But just now they announced them acquiring another company called Quickoffice, which provides word processing to the masses.

“Quickoffice has an established track record of enabling seamless interoperability with popular file formats, and we’ll be working on bringing their powerful technology to our Apps product suite,”
