Google has today launched a brand new Virtual Reality storefront in its Google Store, showing their virtual reality headset, Google Cardboard.

This really shows that Google is very interested in developing the Cardboard brand, which they have been developing over the last year, with a number of third-parties developing their own spin-off kits.

This is the first time that Google has sold Cardboard directly through its store, but as of today you can pick up a single Cardboard unit for $15 and two Cardboard units for $25.

Google will also be providing badges to Cardboard-certidied viewers to let users know which VR viewers will work with the VR applications that have been developed for its Google Cardboard headset.

These will be showcased on the Google Store, alongside Google’s own unit.
