Google has today revealed some new that we have expected for some time, which is that after reducing its price, Google has decided to discontinue the Nexus Player.

The Android TV never did too well, which is the reason for its discontinuation about a year and a half after its launch.

Google has not revealed any details for any new Android TV devices, however, that does not mean that they have given up.

Google has recently revealed new partnerships with other companies like Sony, Sharp,  Xiaomi and RCA to release their own Android TV hardware, and since Chromecast is a little more popular, they seem to want to focus on that.
