Google is always coming up with new projects to make the world a better place, one of the most recent that hit the web was Project Loon, a new project that aims to beam internet down to deprived areas over the world.

At first they tested this in New Zealand, but the company has now expanded this testing to California’s Central Valley, with the aim of improving the technology or the systems to develop the technology for worldwide use.

By testing the flight of the balloon, Google collected information on how Project Loon would perform where there was many other radio signals floating around.

You can follow the entire project and Google’s future tests on their Google+ page here.
