We were correct a new Nexus 7 Google have just announced it running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, with a 1280×800 resolution, Tegra 3 chipset with a front facing camera, wifi, Bluetooth and NFC, 9 hours of HD video playback.

The app includes it’s own eBook and magazine apps allowing you to pick up where you ave left of from another device, the magazine also shows you the newest magazine on the top.

They have also added interactive elements letting you drag up to expand content and tap links to go to another part of the article without leaving the page.

The Nexus 7 will also have it’s own movies app allowing you to simply watching TV shows straight from the Google Play store, you will also have links to everything you have already purchased and download content to your device.

They have also revealed a recommendations service to show content your interested in on a widget page on you home page, allowing you to find content easier.

They have also added a what’s this song widget like Shazam which will find the name of the song and give you a link to buy it.

The Nexus 7 is also the first device shipping with Chorme as the standard browser, alongside that they have also updated the YouTube app allowing for a better viewing experience.

Google Maps has also been updated to let you get more information after tapping on a business, you can also tap to view a picture inside, but the coolest feature is compass mode allowing you to turn the device to look around.

They are also added support for offline maps which can download a map for an entire city, Google Currents has also been updated to bring translations to the news you have on your feed.

The Nexus 7 is also good for gaming with that amazing Tegra 3 chipset animation is fluid and brings great graphics to a tablet device.

The device will be available from today for $199 and when you buy one you will also get $25 google play gift card, and free magazine issues and games.
