Google will be hosting an event on October 4th, but ahead of that time we have learned some more details about a few products that we expect to hear more about during that show.

This comes from Android Police, who reported a rumour this week that states that Google will announce the price tags for the Google Home device and for the new 4K Chromecast Ultra during this event. According to their sources, Google Home will be priced at $129 in the US and the Chromecast Ultra device will be $69.

This comes after Google originally showed off Google Home at Google I/O 2016, which is a device that aims to take on Amazon’s Echo by providing an AI home assistant that will allow you to use the power of Google and their artificial intelligence technology to get answers and complete tasks with voice commands whilst in your home.

Google hasn’t announced the Chromecast Ultra yet, but rumours suggest that it will be a 4K version of the Chromecast, allowing you to stream video to your TV from a selection of devices and get a 4K output, similar to the normal Chromecast, but with 4K output.

That said, Google hasn’t revealed anything official about the Chromecast Ultra yet.

We expect to hear more from them during their October 4th event, at which time we will update you with the latest.
