Shortly after the announcement that Google Home would be coming to the UK a number of third-party manufacturers have announced their own support for the smart speaker, this started with tado° earlier today, however, that is not the only manufacturer announcing their support.

A ton of other manufacturers have also announced their own support. August will let you lock and check your smart lock by voice, Wink will allow you to control Wink Hub connected lights and thermostats, and TP-Link will allow you to control their connected smart lights, outlets, and switches all from your Google Home device.

These will also be added to the existing integrations by Philips Hue, SmartThings, WeMo, Honeywell, and Nest. Making the Google Home device a little more suitable in terms of your smart home, catching up with what Alexa can do somewhat.
