Google has finally launched indoor maps for commercial locations all around the world, which include airports, department stores, malls but is so far only available in select locations with Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Japan, the United Kingdom, the U.S., Sweden, and Switzerland.

Alongside the region restrictions, desktop users can only view the main level of buildings within the indoor map, Android devices can however see additional levels using a level switcher function.

The great thing is that company’s can actually upload their own indoor maps to the service, which means it should grow pretty quickly, so far in the UK some locations include the O2 Arena, Wembley Stadium, St. Pancras International Station, Waterloo Station, Harrods  and a lot more, you can check out the full list with other locations in other countries here.
