The Redditor GoldLeader272 revealed a cool feature about Google Maps today and that is that it has it’s own mode for Pokemon Go.

This is the addition of a ‘Catching Pokemon’ activity tracking feature in the Timeline, which allows you to track when and where you have been whilst playing Pokemon Go.

To use the feature you need to open the menu in Google Maps, click Your Timeline and then click on the Catching Pokemon option. If it’s your first time using the feature you will also have to activate it.

Once done, the Timeline will automatically track where you go and provide you with details about your daily movement.

Then you simply tag the distances where you have been playing Pokemon Go, it’s not extremely intuitive, but it is certainly a cool way to track your journey to catching them all.
