There has already been a ton a rumours and leaks published heading up to this day, the day that Google officially reveals the new Nexus 5 by LG, which will be running on the new Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and will feature a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM and wither 16GB or 32GB of storage.

There’s also a 5 inch display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 445ppi.

Alongside that, the Nexus 5 also features a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, with an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with optical image stabilisation, alongside dual band 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0, as well as a microUSB port, dual microphones, a 3.5mm audio jack and wireless charging.

The Google Nexus 5 by LG will be available in the US in two colours for $349 for the 16GB model and $399 for the 32GB model, in the UK Carphone Warehouse have confirmed that the device will be priced from £295 for the unlocked model.
