In order to directly target the education market, Google has today announced the Google Play Store for schools, designed to make it easier for schools to find education based applications for Android devices, allowing them to bulk purchase apps that can be automatically distributed to students over the cloud.

A store which will only contain apps targeted at education, to get in developers will have to submit their apps through the Google Play Developer Console for approval.
