As was rumoured some time ago, Google has today released an “Ok Google” extension for their Google Chrome browser, which allows you to use the “Ok Google” phrase to search Google with your voice, which can be installed via the Chrome web store, after which it will ask you if it can use your microphone, and then you can begin searching by simply stating “Ok Google”.

The functionality was first released on the Google Glass Explorer edition, and then the Moto X and finally the new Android 4.4 devices, however the Chrome extension won’t feature as many functions as its Android counterpart.
