Finally Google are starting to implement some of that great design we have seen within the iOS applications into their web-based services, with Gmail getting a new user-interface, that looks a lot like the current Gmail application on iOS, the company has finally noticed great design, stating the following in their announcement post:

“Since launching the rebooted Gmail app for iPhone and iPad in December, we’ve heard from many of you that you like the redesigned UI, along with new features such as improved search and integration with Google Calendar”.

The great thing is that this new interface won’t just be limited to devices running iOS, and will work with all mobile devices including Android, the Kindle Fire and even BlackBerry, through all of which the new look can be accessed by typing in the usual, Gmail.com.
