Samsung and Google have today announced their newest addition to the Chromebook family with the next-gen Samsung built Chromebook.
The new laptop will run on Google’s Chrome OS, packing an 11.6 inch screen with a 1366 x 768 resolution, Samsung’s Exynos 5250 processor, 2GBs of RAM, 16GBs of in-built storage with two years free 100GB Google Drive storage.
The new Chromebook also includes a VGA webcam, HDMI port, USB 3.0 port a USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth 3.0 and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi technology.
Google has also claimed that the new laptop will also boot up in just 10 seconds, with a battery life of six and a half hours, alongside which it also weighs just 2.5 pounds and is only 0.8 inches thick.
The new Samsung Chromebook is available to pre-order from today, shipping next week for £229 or $249 depending on where you live.
